Town roads are posted effective Thursday, February 19, 2026 for the spring season.  The limit is posted at fifteen (15) tons.  Please email Road Patrolman Darin Ripp at rippdarin@town.springfield.wi.us to discuss the best route for any deliveries on our town roads.  You will need to lighten your load by 1/3 (gross maximum weight reduced by 1/3), put your tags down, take the shortest route to and from a county or state highway and use the center of the road, if possible to drive on.

Please check our website or make note of the weight limit signs coming down, typically in 2-6 weeks depending on the weather.
