The Town of Springfield is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Clerk-Treasurer with the capacity & desire to grow/transition into the Clerk-Treasurer position. The Deputy Clerk-Treasurer acts as the primary public contact at Town Hall & performs routine clerical, customer service, administrative & data processing work in AP/AR, licensing, budgeting, election administration, meeting prep & follow up, and tax collection. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work individually & cooperatively in a professional, small office environment. Excellent communication & organizational skills & numbers proficiency are essential. Some evening hours will be required periodically. High school completion & office/admin experience are required.
